Our programs are free of charge and open to the public. They include a wide variety of presentations on Civil War topics, and sometimes include tours, drama, and musical offerings. An optional social hour and dinner precedes each program. Advanced reservations are required for all dinners.

General Remarks from the Commander:
The officers of the DMCWRT have decided to "stand down" for the remainder of the 2020 calendar year due to the impact of the COVID 19 virus. John Liepa has been in contact with most of our scheduled speakers and they are concerned about speaking to our members, both in terms of the safety of our members and their own personal safety.
The recent survey of our members did not have a great response rate, but those who did respond indicated they would not feel safe meeting in-person until a vaccine is available, they did not want to eat together at this time, and they did not want to have an online meeting. We feel that those members who did respond to the survey expressed the sentiments of most members.
John Liepa, Ron Nurmi, and myself will visit again late in the year, assess the virus situation then, and decide what to do about the Spring 2021 campaign. We will not worry about collecting membership dues until we are able to meet again in-person. So, for now, please stay healthy and safe!
Brig. Gen. Gordon McKenzie
